We Are Married!
We are so blessed! Francislyn and I met in Tamarindo, Costa Rica on September 3rd, 2019. It was love at first site! I felt like I had met the woman of my dreams for the first time in my life. We were officially courting by November 6th. I had to leave Costa Rica in February 2020 to have skin surgery in the US. I recovered from the first surgery as countries were being locked down. So I had 2 additional skin surgeries while waiting to return.
I had no idea that I would be away from my true love for almost 8 months because of COVID-19. We continued with a long-distance relationship over video-chat, with the ongoing hope that the next week or so that I could finally be allowed back to my true love.
I finally discovered a potential way, but it required that I travel across the world to London, self-quarantine for over 2 weeks, pass a Covid test, fly to Germany, and finally fly to the capital city of San Jose, Costa Rica. I made it!!!
There were times when I thought I would be forced to go back, but ultimately I returned to my true love. We navigated our way to establishing our loving home right here in Brasilito, Guanacaste, Costa Rica. Three and a half weeks after arriving in Costa Rica, we went to one of our favorite places and she said YES!!!
